90POE at Saudi Maritime & Logistics Congress 2024

Saudi Arabia’s premier maritime and logistics event, the Saudi Maritime & Logistics Congress, is expected to bring together leading industry experts for two days of unparalleled networking and growth opportunities in this dynamic region.

The Saudi Maritime Congress is one of the most prestigious events on the maritime calendar, attracting key industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators from around the globe. Richard Buckley to moderate panel discussion on maritime digitalisation 

Our Founder and CEO, Richard Buckley, a thought leader in maritime digital technology, will moderate a panel titled "The Digitalization of Maritime: The Adoption of AI and Machine Learning" on Thursday, September 19, at 11:00 – 12:00.


The discussion will delve into the transformative impact of digital technologies on the maritime sector, among industry leaders, including Nils Kemme, Managing Director and Partner at HPC Hamburg Port Consulting GmbH, Dr. Muhammad Omer, Senior Data Science at Saudi Aramco, Mr Jesper Stenbak, Senior Vice President at CMA CGM - Dubai Regional Office, Mohamed AbuHamra, Chief Operating Officer of Digital Technology atDP World GCC, and Turki Alkhorayef, Chief Business Officer at Tabadul. 


The panel will explore various facets of digitalisation, including how AI and machine learning can accelerate digital innovations in the industry, what early adopters have learnt and whether owners and operators are best placed to develop in-house solutions or adapt off-the-shelf products. The discussion will conclude with what a future of excellence in this area might mean for the industry's bottom line.
