For 90POE, the year has been transformative. Having spent time listening and developing our maritime software solution, OpenOcean STUDIO, 2024 has been a year of growth, partnerships, and industry impact.
As we step into a busy end of the year, we are taking a moment to look back at just some of the highlights so far.
January: EU ETS integration and Harbor Lab partnership
We began 2024 with the enhancement of our next-generation platform, OpenOcean STUDIO, to fully comply with the new European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS). The regulatory change, effective from the start of the year, mandated that ship owners, operators, and managers track, report, and surrender allowances for their CO2 emissions.
At 90POE, we are constantly staying ahead of changes across the sector, ensuring OpenOcean STUDIO remains a comprehensive solution for managing emissions, from initial assessments to ongoing monitoring and reporting.
Later in January, we also announced our collaboration with Harbor Lab, marking a new era in maritime excellence in the efficiency and transparency of port operations and disbursement management. The partnership builds on a long-standing relationship between the two organisations and is testament to our shared commitment towards driving innovation in maritime operations.
The Harbor Lab renowned e-disbursement platform seamlessly integrates with OpenOcean STUDIO, enhancing operational efficiencies for our customers and ensuring transparent, secure commercial outcomes across the maritime sector.
